Popular Post Kallie Posted September 2 Popular Post Share Posted September 2 (edited) I'm getting not one, not two, but Three short stories published in anthologies this year! I've been pretty quiet on EB and besides all the drama with FILs death (Don't even get me started..ugh) this is a big reason why. I have written and submitted so many short stories, started a new novel and got my three accepted. It's amazing. The first is already out and I have the hard copy and it's so surreal to hold it in my hands and realise that my teen dream of being a published writer is actually real now. It's a pretty heavy topic actually, as it deals with suicide (so content warning), meaning I was very surprised when it was chosen. @Moomintroll It's available here: https://www.stringybarkstories.net/competitions/closed-competitons/crowd-surfing.html The second one, is basically supernatural fiction, set in more or less real life but with magic. It will be coming out with Wolf Grove Media in October (the book of choices volume 2) And the third is more sci fi than anything else (it's set on another planet). It should be out in a couple of weeks with the writers workout, the 72 Hours of Insanity anthology volume 12.
